Electric vehicle tidbits and adventures in the Kootenays
K Via Hwy 3 – 20
For the size of Kelowna, it really doesn’t have much in the way of public chargers. These AddEnergie units are located at the Okanagan College campus on KLO Road, in a pay parking lot. Not really close to anything either. The only other location is at the Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites – a green hotel with 3 chargers that they offer to anyone passing by, not just guests. If we were the type to stay in hotels, we would stay at this place, since they appear to go far beyond just paying the lip-service that many places do towards taking actions toward supporting sustainability. I do wish that some chargers would pop up close to downtown though, as that is about the only part of Kelowna I like (sorry K-town peeps!)

He is very passionate about the future of energy generation & usage. He prefers bikes to cars, but acknowledges that Canadian cities have been developed primarily with cars in mind, so if we're going to drive, let's make them all EVs!(But let's get EV buses and take those where possible first.)
